Skovorodko Oleg. Lives and works in Vitebsk (Belarus).
Born on October 5, 1948 in the village of Osiyo, Vitebsk region, Belarus.
In 1972 he graduated from the Vitebsk Pedagogical Institute, art-graphic faculty.
A member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1986.
The artist’s personal exhibitions were held in Minsk, Vitebsk, Mogilev, Bobruisk, Polotsk, Smolensk, Pskov, Ninburg, St. Petersburg, Grodno, Vologda, Cherepovets.
He took part in a number of international and republican plein airs in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany, Serbia, Lithuania, Latvia.
Participated in exhibitions of Belarusian artists abroad: England, France, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Germany, Russia.
Awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia.
The artist’s works are in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk), in the collection of the National Library of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk), in the Museum of Modern Art (Minsk), in the Grodno State Historical and Archaeological Museum, in the Mogilev Art Museum named after P. Maslenikov, in the Vitebsk Art Museum, in the Polotsk Historical and Cultural Reserve, in the G. Vaschenko Art Gallery (Gomel), in the Lepel Museum of Local Lore, in the Balaklava Art Museum, Sevastopol (Ukraine), in private collections and galleries of the Republic of Belarus, Russia, Israel, Germany, France, Holland, England, Poland, Turkey, India, etc.
The work of Oleg Skovorodko was donated to the President of France F. Hollande on the day of the presentation of his credentials on February 22, 2013.
He took part in the opening of the exhibition of Vitebsk artists, which was held in Paris (France) in 2016.
In 2019 he was awarded the Francysk Skaryna Medal
